The main event today was the Hyogo Museum - by Tadao Ando. I'll post some more pics that i want to keep seperate in the next post. Even the toilets are exciting (to me).

Otosan and Okasan took us out for lunch.

Thats all mine.

HYOGO PREFECTURAL MUSEUM OF ART

This is one of the Tadao Ando museums i've wanted to visit. Turns out it was right next to that park we visited the other day, in fact, if you follow the park, it intergrates with the museum. Inside the museum there is a section dedicated to Ando, which contains original models and drawings...and other art, but its not what we came for :)

Famous concrete.

Ando Section.

Archi students would cream over this model.

Scale model of Ando's most famous buidling (The Church of Light) which i hope to visit soon. The model is made out of real concrete.

Process sketches.

An Ando toilet...lol.

The toilet very dark inside.

We left the museum and headed into the city to get some Ramen. We parked at this Mechanical Vertical Parking place (don't know the name). Like the one in Tokyo Drift.

I think it goes without saying, but this was way better than Hakataya.

THEY HAVE THE TECHNOLOGY! Keyless piano.
