Timothy Hajnady in Melbourne

Today we changed hotels again, got some epic yum cha, got a spot of tea at Hopetoun, walked south Melbourne, and got some Italian for dinner.

Rydges

Staying at Rydges for a night, pretty nice place. TIP: join their rewards club thing, you get a discount + late checkout (1pm), amonst other things.

Chinatown

Short walk from the hotel is Chinatown.

Down this lane is New Kum Den (see yesterday).

Westlake

Delicious Yum Cha. My mum's favourite.

Hopetoun Tea Rooms - Block Arcade

If you got a bit of extra cash, come here. Great service, and delicious cakes and tea.

National Gallery of Victoria

Went for a little walk south of Melbourne before dinner.

Restaurant under a bridge, madness!

Cool place with a fireplace in the middle of the table! wth!

Eureka Towers

Crown Casino

Fire show out front every hour.

Il Cantuccio - Lygon St

We headed to Lygon St for dinner. Lygon St is famous for their italian food. Walking the the street you are constantly harrassed by people trying to get you into their restaurants. We decided on this place Il Cantuccio, the atmosphere was nice, and i enjoyed the food. The staff were very friendly, we had a good chat to them after dinner.

Back in the CBD.
